Super Bowl of Chili Cook-Off Contest: Sunday February 5, 2012 - 7pm Bomb Shelter's annual Super Bowl of Chili Cook-Off contest! No entrance fee, just bring your chili in a crock pot to keep it warm and a serving spoon. Judging at half time of the game, doors open 11am, kick-off 5:30pm. Prizes for 1st-3rd place including a keg party, bar tabs & more. _____________________________________________________________________ Abita Beer & Food Pairing:Milwaukee Release of Bourbon Barrel Vanilla Double Dog! Wednesday March 7, 2012 7pm 
The Milwaukee release of Abita Bourbon Barrel Aged Vanilla Double Dog will be at Bomb Shelter Wednesday March 7th. This will be an Abita Brewing tap take over of the Suds Club, eight Abita beers all paired with food. Seven of these beers will be on tap, including a beer hooked up to a 'Hop Rocket' that will infuse the beer right in the beer line! _____________________________________________________________________ Original Century Hall sign on display:The Bomb Shelter has acquired the original Blatz sign that hung outside Century Hall on Milwaukee's east side until it burned down in 1988. This is the first time the sign has been publicly displayed in 22 years. A piece of Milwaukee history that's sure to bring back fond memories for those who remember hanging out at Century Hall.
